Veolia Leeds

Waste To Energy

Contract Value: £1M

We are proud to have contributed significantly to the waste-to-energy project that will provide sustainable energy to the Leeds District. Our team at CSW Process was handpicked to install both internal and external pipelines, including 20" steam and condensate lines directly from the turbine hall to the newly installed pulping plant. Additionally, we set up future connections to enable St James Hospital to benefit from the waste steam generated by the advanced incinerator.

Broughton House & Victoria Street - District Heating

Throughout Phases 1 and 2 of the district heating projects in Bristol City, CSW Process Ltd has been the primary contractor. Our highly skilled team oversaw the installation of an advanced network of pre-insulated piping, which will deliver cost-effective and eco-friendly heat to residential, public, and commercial structures throughout the city with utmost efficiency.

Old Market Network - District Heating

Contract Value: £4.5M

Bristol City Council is forging ahead with its plans to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, with the expansion of its heat network forming a key part of the strategy. Phase 3 of the project, which aims to establish more carbon-neutral buildings across the city, was completed by CSW Process, who acted as the main contractor. Our work involved a wide range of tasks, from civil engineering and installation of pre-insulated pipes for district heating, to building connections to the heat network and supply and maintenance of substations. The project also included internal works to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the new network.

Enfield - DHN Meridian Water North Extension

Contract Value: £6.5M

Enfield approved the Meridian Water heat network and energy centre, which will utilise waste heat from an Energy Recovery Facility. The heat will be distributed through underground District Heating pipes to connected homes and businesses, greatly reducing carbon emissions. These savings will help Enfield become a Net Zero borough by 2040.
